About every year or so, I have a shift in what I want from a personal blog, and lately I’ve been mulling about the dev log I kept while working on Dex UI.
Lately I’ve been running this show as somewhere to teach what I’ve just learned, but the best stuff is when I just talk about the cool stuff I’ve been geeking out on. Like more about color spaces than anyone should ever want to know. Or when I would drop one sentence and a sick gif and call it a day.
A past me apparently realized this 3 years ago:
The dev log, though originally an experiment, turned out to be hugely motivating and so I made it the main emphasis of the site.
But soon after, I let it go. Point is I miss that style and I’m bringing it back. More posts! Short posts! Cool stuff! And maybe some of the long form stuff in between.
